I hate to write this post, but it would seem terribly wrong to not mention what has happened.

We lost Honey. He went suddenly, inexplicably, and many years before we ever expected to lose him. He seemed perfectly healthy; we think it was a heart attack. Any animal lover can imagine our grief.

I adored Honey. He made me happy every single day. I am so thankful that our little shy guy hollered at us in the animal shelter. We would later learn that he was petrified of strangers, but that day, when we were still strangers to him, he called out to us, and chose us to take him home.

We will miss him so much.
